Fun with a jewellery party
I recently found a new, fun way to share my love of beads and jewellery-making – jewellery parties! First, I hosted a practice party at home with some friends who’d never done jewellery-making before, which went down a storm. The hardest part, they all said, was choosing which beads to use from my extensive collection! But it was a lot of fun, and they enjoyed it so much, one of them booked me to do the same at the hen-do she was organising for a friend. That was a lot of fun, too!
So I decided to offer jewellery parties as another service from Embrace Crafts. For a small fee (£25) you can now book me to come to your home (or host it in my home) with my kit, and help you make beautiful, unique jewellery – bracelets, necklaces, earrings etc. You and your friends choose the components and design the piece (or pieces), and I help you put it together and complete it. You then pay for the components you’ve used, plus a small profit for me, and hey presto! You each have a unique piece of jewellery. If you have something in particular in mind that you’d like to make, or a colour or component you’d like to use, I can try to make sure I have it with me when I arrive. I mostly use semi-precious stones and silver wire, charms and chains, so you know you’re getting quality pieces, but we can always discuss your preferences and run with them.
Please see my Jewellery Parties page for more details, or get in touch via the Contact Page to find out more or book a party.
I look forward to it!
